July 14 meeting: "Initiatives for Your IT Career Advancement"

E-mail Print PDF

When was the last time you performed an assessment of your career and life situation? Are you passionate about your job and career, or are you just working for a paycheck? Are your education, training, academic degrees and knowledge and skill competitive and up-to-date? If not, you may be relegated to a permanent lack of success. Please recognize that you are engaged in a "career war" -- battling for success! Health check-up's are critical to maintaining a healthy physical well-being. Likewise, in order to have a successful career, you need to perform regular career assessments. Such an assessment should include the following questions:

  1. How compatible and congruent are your career Vision and career "calling" or passion?
  2. How detailed and action-oriented is your career execution plan?
  3. Does your resume convey your most desirable and most powerful market image?
  4. How concise, clear and effective is your "Elevator Speech"?
  5. how well-trained are you in the ability to perform well in an interview?

To hear more, come and join us for dinner.
